What is 100% Design Virtual?

A series of online resources, programming and trade related events designed to virtually connect the design community. Trade members will have the ease of sourcing new products by dedicated halls categorized accordingly. The opportunity to set up one on one B2B meetings via Live Video Chat with each exhibitor. By entering an exhibitors virtual stand trade will have the opportunity to communicate via online chat, Live Video Chat or simply browse catalogues and product categories.

An exciting addition to the Virtual experience is the Industry Talks taking place for 3 days - 7, 8 & 9 October live within the Virtual Auditorium. These talks are at no additional charge and filled with, trend, inspirational and success driven content.

 

How long will it run from?

This trade only virtual experience will run for 3 days, taking place from the 7th – 9th of October 2020. The virtual doors will be open each day from 10am – 4pm.

The Virtual offering is specifically a trade focussed industry event, aimed at architects, interior designers/decorators, specifiers, hospitality and retail buyers, corporate procurement, landscapers, online retailers, products designers, property developers and building contractors.

 

What is the difference between 100% Virtual and 100%Online?

100% Design Virtual is a trade only experience running for 3 days; 7-9 October for the industry. All members need to register to attend and all application are strictly vetted.

100% Design Online will run for the month of October and allows the public to access our exhibitor listings on our website and see new product launches, specials and promotions on our social platforms.

 

How do I as a trade attendee connect with Exhibitors?

Each Hall within the virtual show has been categorized for ease of navigation. When entering a hall exhibitors will be displayed according to sub category within the hall. To engage with an exhibitor you would click on their name and enter their virtual stand. You now have the opportunity to either have a Live Video chat, live messaging chat or simple view their catalogues, video or browse the product line. You will be able to email exhibitors should they be unavailable and all contact information will be available to you.

How do I register as a Trade attendee for 100% Design Virtual?

All applications for the virtual experience are strictly vetted.

Will Trade attendees need to pay to access 100% Design Virtual?

As 100% Design SA  plays a pivotal part within the industry and in an endeavour to grow, strengthen and support the industry, there will be no cost to be part of this trade only virtual experience. However all members of the trade will need to register and have their applications vetted.

Will there be any other events run alongside the Virtual Expo?

We will be launching live digital industry talks, that will run alongside the virtual experience. These will feature some of SA’s top business influencers that shape the décor, design and lifestyle industries, as they share success stories, personal journeys, adventures and inspiration within the design industry.
